Naga 3D

3d learning is still going on for my Himmapan Project. This time around I started off with modeling in ZBrush. The aim is to create a 3D model of a legendary creature of Himmapan forest, Naga. The process of creating ZSphere for the base structure took about 2 hours. The result is a high poly count model with about 1.6 million polygons.



Then I moved on to the texturing process. This is quite fun, although very time consuming--it took me nearly the whole day just to paint here and there. I thought I already have a fast machine (Dual 2 GHz Power Mac G5 with 3 GB of RAM). I was dead wrong! After hours in front of my G5, this is what I got:

Come on, you think that's scary, Photon? (^_^) Actualyl it's scary for me as I have spent too much time on it.
