Freewave
A combined book-and-DVD package, Freewave is a sourcebook of freeware for the cut-and-paste generation and a showcase of graphic design talent. The disc contains the complete makeup of the book, including fonts, layouts, photographs, and illustrations, as well as pieces of interactive software, animations, and sound loops. All the content supplied can be reused without restriction for printed material, websites, software, or presentation.
AUTHOR BIO: David Luscombe, designer and developer of Freewave, cofounded Fontmonster, an Internet company that offers free fonts, in 1999. Alison Rosco is project manager and researcher of Freewave.
